It is hard to believe that we already have four weeks of the Autumn term behind us! The children are working incredibly hard and it is lovely to be walking around school seeing the children mixing with each other and learning together again. The corridors are filled with groups of children working together. Today Y2 were role playing and had some very interesting alien faces to use. It is fast approaching the time of year for our Year 6 parents to choose a secondary school and for families in the locality to choose a primary school. Over the next few weeks we will be holding open mornings, please see the website for details. I am looking forward to welcoming visitors to school and sharing our school with them.
Next week is STEM week (science, technology, engineering and maths). Our STEM team have been busy planning an exciting week for all the children…… we will be visited by a mobile zoo, have a planetarium in our hall and much much more.
It is going to be an amazing week! Rest up over the weekend and remember no PE next week.
An amazing week of creativity, exploration, and of course fun! The children have worked so hard and enjoyed learning about different techniques, experimenting with pattern and much much more! We have learnt about artists and been inspired. A big well done and thanks to all our children, staff, parents and volunteers, because of your commitment to the project the week has been a huge success.
