Keep in touch with what has been happening in school
On the last day of PGL, we did zip lining. I was uneasy at first about how you had to jump off, but when I jumped off, I felt alive! It was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

This week we did activities including: abseiling, matrix (we had to pretend it was boat cleaning), rock climbing, trapeze, sensory trail, beach walk, problem solving, archery, vertical challenge, Jacob’s ladder, giant swing and orienteering. We did 1 hour a challenge and we did about 5 challenges a day. It was fantastic!

The ladder to the trapeze wasn’t as easy as I thought to climb up because it wobbled but I was determined to get to the top.

In sensory trail we had to wear goggles to black out our eyes and go though a trail on a rope with obstacles left, right and centre.

When my group did archery, some of us got bullseye. We also played a game called who, where and how. Depending on where your shot hit is who you’re going with, where you’re going and how you are going to go. It was brilliant!

On Sunday 8th October 30 children from Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in the annual East Grinstead Cross Country event at East Court.

As part of Year 3’s home learning, the children were asked to look at images of Stonehenge and recreate it using biscuits.
