On Monday 16th October, the children enthusiastically took part in an online, interactive CPR session.

Dropping Giant Swing!
by Jennifer Willis on December 20, 2024 No commentsThe Giant Swing was so fun it made our hearts drop to the ground!
To get to the highest level of the swing, the rest of the group had to pull a rope which made us go higher. Once we got to the top, there was a green rope that we had to pull, to let you swing down. We loved it! We wish we could do it every day! We were so scared at first but once we did it we were so happy!

READ MOREPanther PGL: Wonky Wedgie
by Jennifer Willis on December 20, 2024 No commentsWe went to PGL on the 23rd of September for five days.
On PGL we did loads of activities. I was in group 4. My favourite activity was Giant Swing: we went all the way to the top! It gave me a massive wedgie. When we dropped it felt scary but, after we dropped, it felt fine. I chose this as my favourite because we had ultimate fun.

READ MOREFANTASTIC FOOTBALL
by Jennifer Willis on December 20, 2024 No commentsI play for Forest Row under 11s football team.
Every Wednesday my team has a training session. We start by doing stretches, followed by 15 laps around the field. Once we are warmed up, we split into two groups. One group practises shooting and the other practises passing and then we swap.
On Saturdays we play matches against other teams from the area. Sometimes we have to travel up to 3 hours away just to play a team, but I love a good game of football!

READ MORECOZY CABINS
by Jennifer Willis on December 20, 2024 No commentsThe cabins at PGL were so cozy (I snuggled up in my bed).
When Archie and I got to our cabins we nearly fell asleep straight away; the beds were so comfortable we nearly went to bed without having dinner! But we got hungry, and luckily had lots of yummy food!

We love to dance and sing to k-pop songs in front of our class! We are currently working on a dance and song to perform. Lily teaches the dances and the rest of us learn them.

READ MOREWRITERS’ CLUB BOOK!
by Jennifer Willis on December 20, 2024 No commentsA collection of stories all in one book – from the real world, to ones straight from your wackiest dreams in the writers’ club collection.
The writers’ club book is a series of short 10-20 page stories, each one made by a different child in year 5 last year. We spent most of year 5 making these stories. Here’s a short blurb for my one: an old fisherman and a crazed maniac wander through an imaginary landscape facing monsters, tribes of the dead and . . . a rock? Join them on their adventure; will they be able to escape?

The Isle of Wight was so fun! All of the instructors made sure we all had the the best time (they certainly did!). All I can say is that everyone had the best time ever.
