School Events

The Giant Swing was so fun it made our hearts drop to the ground!

To get to the highest level of the swing, the rest of the group had to pull a rope which made us go higher. Once we got to the top, there was a green rope that we had to pull, to let you swing down. We loved it! We wish we could do it every day! We were so scared at first but once we did it we were so happy!

We went to PGL on the 23rd of September for five days.

On PGL we did loads of activities. I was in group 4. My favourite activity was Giant Swing: we went all the way to the top! It gave me a massive wedgie. When we dropped it felt scary but, after we dropped, it felt fine. I chose this as my favourite because we had ultimate fun.

When we went to PGL, we did loads of activities. My favourite activities were laser, abseiling and campfire. Sadly, the sensory trail was too muddy for me!

The Isle of Wight: probably the best place on Earth!

The Isle of Wight was so fun! All of the instructors made sure we all had the the best time (they certainly did!). All I can say is that everyone had the best time ever.

Grace and I went on the big swing together and it was amazing!

When Grace and I went on the big swing, it was amazing because we were sat there when our group were pulling the string, and we could touch the trees!

When I went to the Isle of Wight there were so many things to do, but one of my favourite activities was probably trapeze.

At the trapeze, we got to have two goes of trying to jump and reach the bars; the first go I jumped before the countdown and was dangling in the air [it wasn’t the best] but the second try I made it! [I was so happy] and I luckily didn’t dangle in the air for a long period of time.

When we got back from half term we were told to dress up in 1^st, 2^nd  and 3^rd class clothing for our Titanic topic!

We had a chance to rotate around the classrooms in phase 3. In my class we all made cucumber sandwiches and some delicious lemonade!

On Tuesday 5^th November, we dressed up as passengers from the Titanic and rotated around classrooms doing activities!

I went undercover as Michael Jason, a first class passenger sailing on the Titanic for the food :D. We made cucumber sandwiches and lemonade. We then painted portraits of ourselves in a FANCY style. We finally played old fashioned games and wrote diary entries! This day was so much fun!

On the Isle of Wight, we played laser tag – it was an adventure I will never forget. There was a bit of cheating from the other team but it was all fun. We got to spent time with our friends and snipe the opponents. I would say I have never experienced something so good. We got a tiny bit muddy from playing in the forest but I had a good time!
