Year 2 had a very exciting morning of first aid training. Lots of the children knew about the important parts of the body and why we need to protect them. We talked about dangers in our houses, how to call for help by dialing 999 and how to put someone in the recovery position. We listened to a 999 call made by a 6 yr old and talked about the importance of knowing what to do and keeping ourselves safe in an emergency. Our homework was to learn our address off by heart so if we need to we can tell a member of the emergency services.
