Mrs Lucy Howard
SENCo & Deputy DSL
I have been lucky enough to work at Estcots since 2013 when we moved to East Grinstead. Previously to that I taught in London for 6 years.
I am lucky enough to be in a role that I relish; SENCO. I feel incredibly privileged to be able to work with children across the whole school and be involved with making sure the provision that they receive is tailored to their individual needs. My role also allows me to support my colleagues here at Estcots’ to provide the right support for the SEND children in their class by using in school resource, interventions and outside agencies.
I am also blessed to work with such an amazing inclusion team including our learning mentor and play therapist.

A Few Things About Me
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family. I love being a mum and spending time with my daughter. In my spare moments I enjoy cooking, reading and crafting. I’m very much a home bird and can think of nothing better than a cosy night in with a good family film, a blanket and lots of candles.
As a family we love being outside and feel incredibly lucky to live in this fantastic part of the country where there is so much to do on our doorstep. We often spend weekends and evenings walking, going for bike rides, visiting national trust properties and open water swimming. We enjoy socialising with friends and family and enjoy days out, theatre trips and eating out as a family.
