Mrs Michelle Bailey

Play Therapist

I have been very privileged to work with children for the past 25 years and gained experience in mainstream settings and in Special Education as an HLTA.

I recently challenged myself by going back to University to qualify as a Plat Therapist. This has been a huge achievement for me and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

I currently provide group and individual therapeutic interventions that provide benefits to children’s well-being.

Play therapy fosters imagination and creativity and encourages confidence and concentration. It aims to enable children to acknowledge their feelings in a constructive way and give them strategies for coping with the difficulties they may face.

I feel very privileged to work with such amazing children and thank them for letting me be part of their journey through their early life.

A Few Things About Me

Life out of school is always busy, mainly enjoyed by spending time with my family and friends. As a family we enjoy watching movies,  dog walks come rain or shine and fun days out.  We have recently moved house which has been a massive project but incredibly rewarding. if I ever get time to myself Art is my passion, nothing better than getting messy and creative.

We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing
