Mrs Sarah Brown
Year 6 Teacher & Maths Leader
I joined Estcots Primary School in 1998 when I moved down to West Sussex from Yorkshire having completed my first year of teaching at a school in Hull.
I qualified as a teacher after completing a degree at Durham University. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher from a very young age when I used to play schools (making my sister be my pupil!). I have always been fascinated by the joy of learning and have thoroughly enjoyed all of my many years at Estcots trying to provide the best start in life for pupils at our school.
Helping children to learn, understand, question and enjoy the world makes my job thoroughly worthwhile.

A Few Things About Me
Personally, I enjoy keeping fit through playing netball in our local East Grinstead league (with Miss Chad) and badminton (with Mrs Howson). I am also a parent at school as my children both attend and love Estcots.
I enjoy travelling – although have not done nearly enough (I have yet to leave Europe, so this is something that I will have to address!). As a way to relax, I like nothing better than a cosy night in with the TV and my family or a trip to the cinema with a friend. I can play the flute and love singing.
