A Few Things About Me

I am new to the position of Teaching Assistant, but am not new to working with children! After graduating in psychology, I have worked in a variety of settings with children and young people, within the health service and the education sector. I chose to work from home once I had my own children and have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder for over twelve years. I love working with children and enjoy the new challenges each day brings. I have been a parent at Estcots for eight years and have been part of the Parent and Friends Association (voluntary fundraising team) throughout those years, so I feel like I know the school well, but it’s great to have a new perspective and I am thoroughly enjoying working in the classroom.

When I’m not working, I’m a mum to 3 children and enjoy spending time with them and my wider family. I also like to bake, socialise with friends and do a spot of gardening!

Miss Georgina Chadd

EYFS Teacher and Staff Governor

I have been fortunate to work at Estcots for 9 years now; I began working as a Cover Supervisor. In this role I was lucky enough to work across the entire school and with all the children. It was a delight to be able to work with different phases and experience the learning that they were engrossed in and to see the progression throughout the school.

During this role there was never a day the same as I was in a different class each day. After 2 years, I became one of the EYFS Class Teachers. Working with EYFS children is an exciting journey, sharing their new learning and watching them develop as young learners.

I am incredibly lucky to have been able to work across the whole school and now have my own class in EYFS.

A Few Things About Me

Outside of school life I enjoy keeping active and spending time with family and friends. I am a keen cyclist, cycling a variety of distances at weekends.

I also enjoy playing netball and regularly play with a local club as well as going to the cinema.

Miss Sarah Elborough

EYFS Teacher

Estcots is a very special place for me as I used to attend here as a child!

I joined Estcots as an Early Years Teacher in 2011. I absolutely thrive on being part of young children’s education. To watch an enquiring mind evolve from an early age and to actually be part of individual children’s development to individual learners is an absolute honour.

Prior to teaching I was a Teaching Assistant at Estcots and hoped one day that I would return as a teacher!

A Few Things About Me

I am an identical twin, but I assure you it is definitely me teaching at Estcots and not my twin sister! In my spare time I like to meet up with friends, shop a little, relax watching a good film at the cinema and when I am feeling energetic I like to play some sports including tennis and badminton.

I used to play tennis for my local tennis club in East Grinstead when I was younger.  I have not travelled the world, although I recently visited America and cannot wait to return. There are many places I would like to see including New York, Australia, Dubai and Italy.
