SPORTS PREMIUM
The Sport Premium is an allocation of additional funding from the Department for Education, given to every school with primary age children to support the development of Physical Education, School Sport and Competition.
This money is ring-fenced. It is likely that the Government will continue to provide this additional money for the next two academic years.
The allocation for 2023-24 is £19,590. The school will spend this on resources, Sports Week and on continued training of the teachers. To ensure that the children get the best introduction to new sports and the chance to improve their skills year on year.
All schools are required to report on the amount of funding received and how this is being used, as well as the impact this is having on pupils.
