We continued to explore the early chapters of The Iron Man. In English, we began to examine how we could adapt the tale in the form of a play script. Our coastal studies continued with a focus on the varied coastlines of the UK. Science sessions looked at electrical circuits to get our Iron Man’s eyes to light up, while our History lesson focused on great innovators and inventors, including Ada Lovelace.
In ICT, we started to design and develop our own sprites, ready for our maze games and animation. Our DT session explored the history and design of real-life mazes.

Next week our Iron Man play scripts will be developed and performed next week.  We will also be looking forward to hearing you perform your poems. Maths sessions will conclude our work on Money and we will be using all four operations to solve Money problems. Science lessons will explore circuits and how these can be represented in symbols and diagrams. Geography activities will be centered on coastal erosion and how coastal features are formed over time.

Our PE sessions will continue with Netball skills, including passing and pivoting.
