It is the start of a new school year and it is lovely to see the children back at school with smiles on their faces! Welcome to the children who have come up form Reception class into Year 1 for an exciting start to the new year.Our topic for the new term is ‘Turrets and Tiaras’. We launched our new topic with an exciting day with the team form Hands on History who showed the children what the knights had to put on every day will their armour and helmet (see if you can guess who the knight was under all of the armour and helmet?). The ladies of the medieval day also had to dress to impress and the children got to see what they had to put on every day too.

The children had a fantastic day and what a great start to the term.
