What a fantastic first week back! The children have been wonderful and settled into our new routines very well. This week has seen the start of our Stig topic and the pupils investigating the mysterious disappearance of objects from the classroom. Using clues and evidence they followed the trail to a den where the objects had been repurposed. This discovery has led to pupils recording eye-witness quotes and accounts that we will be using in our newspaper reports next week. Maths has seen us revisiting place value up to 10,000 and our Science work on rocks and soils began with an assessment of what we know already and what we now want to know. Both classes have also been exploring their class artists, Julian Opie and Picasso, and looked at how to produce work in their style.
