Year 1 continues to be busy as we approach half term. The children received a letter and some very old toys from ‘Wilfred Toymaker’. He asked us to find out as much as we could about old toys and send him our fact files.

We have also been sense detectives in Science and used all of our senses to name sounds and objects, to look closely at everyday objects, to taste sweet, salty and sour flavours and even used our sense of smell to detect the flavour of crisp!

Lemons were sour!
