What an exciting week we’ve had in Year 1. Using our ‘Toys in Space’ text, we’ve been busy planning our own toy party. We wrote invitations to our toys at home and instructions on how to make a jam sandwich. We then followed instructions to make biscuits, pizzas and jam sandwiches to have at our party. Our toys had a great time playing party games with all of us. We also had a special visitor in school to teach us about volcanoes – we were amazed to see a volcano erupt in our outside area!
