Blue John is a strange story where the Queen of Darkness takes the gold of the sun and the blue of the glaciers.The queen moulds the gold of the sun and the blue of the glaciers to make Blue John. Blue John goes into a deep sleep but then awakes to shine light on the darkness. Then when children come into the darkness, the queen of darkness says, ‘If you go into the light, you will become stone forever.’ Will Blue John step out into the light or will he stay in the darkness forever?
