In this story, Linnet’s father gets captured and she must venture through the dangerous lands to save him. Once linnets father has been captured, she goes to Spark, her old home, and asks her aunt for help. Linnet sees her old friend Hero and she agrees to help.

When Linnet and her friends reach the cells her dad (Nightingale) is locked up in, Hero reveals her identity and locks them up. Using a song, Linnet frees everyone and she and Hero become friends again.
